Hi, it's been a while how are you?
For months I've been trying to write something in this blog, update about my latest trips or adventure yet like always I forgot to do so. Hence, the lack of update this March of 2021. Gosh it has been almost a year since my last update.
Life's kind of crazy and fun the past months. Had a couple of road trips to the beach with my family last year. It was a five day road trip with my cousins from my mother side, and we also spend the holy week at the beach but with my relatives on my father's side. As always it was fun because every out-of-town trips with cousins are always fun, right?
Anyways, another thing that I'm really excited to tell you and that one that cross off on my bucket list was my hiking adventure. Yep, you read it right I went on my first hiking November of last year together with my cousin and her friends.
It was such a lovely view to see early in the morning, catching the sun rise makes me awe. Walking with this view makes you feel less tired specially if you're with good company who's always there to help you and wait for you when you feel tired from walking.
Before reaching our destination which is Vipers peak we need to pass by this hill named Grassland obviously the place is full of grasses hence the name.
If you know me personally, you know how much I struggle years ago due to my hyperthyroidism that walking few meters or climbing up to stairs will make me tired easily and I start to palpitate. Thank goodness those symptoms are now gone and that I can do hiking like other people although my phase is still slower than the younger ones I'm with.
Then just few weeks ago, I had another hiking adventure again and this time it was outside the side but still not for lol. We went hiking at Bamboo Peak in Sta. Cruz. It was my first time to meet this batch and like always they are younger than me. This peak is quite higher than the first peak that I hike and a bit difficult for me since most of the time we need to climb to reach the peak, as what our guide said "Puro ni ahon gamay lang bawi". Man I was so close to quit after what our guide said but since I really want to try this peak I decided to go we ain't a quitter baby.
We start our hike around seven in the morning and due to my slow phase we arrived around eleven o'clock though the estimated hike in the area is three to four hours we technically we are just on time. The peak was named Bamboo peak because along the way to the peak you will pass by big old bamboo trees
Mandatory solo pic when you reach the peak, wasn't even wearing a proper hiking shoes
The gloomy weather gives off a scary vibes but to be honest it was such a lovely place to relax (lalo na siguro kung kasama mo jowa mo lol)
Even though the trail and the adventure is kind of new and difficult for me I never regret that I decide to explore those places with most of the people whom I never met before, for the experience that I never thought I would ever experience. Hoping to have more hiking adventure soon and to hike with people I want to go with *heart eye emoji*
Until my next blog!
